3. Independent usage
   
   

   When your sample is ready, you will receive hands on training at the microscope (LSM-800).

   After completing your test session, independent access and usage of the microscope will be granted to users after a hands-on training. This is to ensure that users are properly trained for independent usage.

   During the first month, users will be encouraged to use the microscope during hours when the microscopy staff is present.

It is necessary for all users to follow some guidelines to ensure proper handling with the microscopes. Booking of the microscope (LSM-800) before use is obligatory.

You are responsible for the system while you are booked.

Delete your booking, if you do not use your slot. If you delete the last booking on the day, ensure that the system is switched off (the previous user might finish before you delete your booking).

We strongly recommend to save your data immediately on your group server.
