The European Children’s Hospitals Organisation (ECHO) gathered for a two-day conference at Frauenchiemsee Abbey to shape the future of European pediatric medicine. The partners of this renowned network include the Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona Children's Hospital (SJD), the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (GOSH) in London and the Schneider Children's Medical Center of Israel. The conference focused in particular on the analysis and usability of data in order to sustainably improve the quality of care. At the same time, current developments and challenges in the individual clinics were discussed in order to learn from each other and develop joint solutions. The picturesque and inspiring surroundings of the abbey provided the participants with an ideal atmosphere for exchanging ideas. The aim is to further strengthen cooperation and develop pioneering strategies for pediatric medicine in Europe and beyond.
